Sweet Review #20: Cadbury DairyMilk Egg ‘n’ Spoon Oreo

Before we start, can we acknowledge the heftiness of that title? The brand name, the product line name, the product name, and then the flavor which is, in turn, a different product. Okay, done.

As you may know, I am not Christian in the slightest, but my childhood in North Carolina knew very well the world of Easter candy. Not that well since my fam never bought a huge chocolate bunny, but the Cadbury candy coated eggs appeared in the kitchen and I never turned down an opportunity to eat jellybeans.

Now that I’m on the continent that Cadbury calls home, it’s time to take on the task of testing their Oreo eggs. I played chloe x halle’s Sugar Symphony because I had taken blondies right out of the oven, so my kitchen was a real symphony of sugar indeed.

I’m going to keep this review short because actually, there isn’t much to say and I think the pictures I took speak for themselves. It’s like a typical filled chocolate Easter egg that you bite open and use a tiny supplied spoon to eat out of. The filling wasn’t amazing or especially reminiscent of Oreos. It neither tasted much like the creme, nor the tangy filling of Oreo cheesecake.

Still, I have three left so hit me up if you want one. If no one takes my eggs I’ll probably bake them into cupcakes or something.
